The second stage of reconstruction affected the new part of the three-story building "Nalmes", which was connected to the historical part of the chamber musical theater of the Republic of Adygea named after A.A. Hanahu. The new building with the Nalmes concert hall for a thousand seats, built in 1987 in the style of Soviet constructivism, is functionally interconnected with the historical part built in 1953 in the style of Stalinist neoclassicism. And despite the different stylistic solutions, the task was to harmoniously combine the spaces of the two blocks. The accent and connecting element for these two parts of the building was the brand color of the Nalmes ensemble - red-scarlet. The main task was: to preserve and restore all the marble cladding of walls and floors and artistic parquet from different types of wood, to bring relevance and modern elements to the interiors such as light, sound, engineering equipment.
The concert hall itself, named after the folk dance ensemble of the Republic of Adygea “Nalmes” (translated into Russian as “diamond”), was reconstructed with changes in the configuration of the floor and seats in order to increase the level of comfort and improve visibility. The new color scheme of the hall using black ceiling and stage erases the boundaries of the room, creating the illusion of boundless space and a feeling of merging with the outside world. A VIP box on the second floor level was also included in the space of the hall due to the redevelopment of unused rooms. The interior of the VIP box, as well as the buffet and music and dance hall premises are a continuation of the general conceptual solution.
